SUSPICIONS RAISED - Cops suspect Kim Kardashian armed robbery to be ‘an inside job’ as the reality star and hubby Kayne West are pictured arriving back in US

Mum-of-two was gagged, handcuffed and dumped in the bathtub of her Paris apartment by raiders dressed as police officers.

FRENCH cops investigating the terrifying armed robbery which left reality star Kim Kardashian robbed at gunpoint ‘suspect it to be an inside job’.

Police suspect the five Eastern European robbers had inside help from the star’s security team allowing them to storm into her apartment posed as police officers and steal almost £9million worth of goods.

A source told the New York Post: “French police suspect the alleged robbers had some contact with security and were tipped off.

“They knew there was no security [with her inside her apartment that night].”

Kim’s current bodyguard, who had helped protect her against celebrity prankstar Vitalli Sediuk last week, was with sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner at a Paris nightclub at the time of the armed robbery.

He has been questioned but is not under suspicion.

It remains unclear where the other two bodyguards were at the time of the attack.

A photographer, who has been following Kim since she arrived in Paris, is being questioned by police.

Kim was gagged, handcuffed and dumped in the bathtub by raiders dressed as police officers.

Robbers held a gun to her head in a £9million raid at her Paris home.

Their haul included two mobile phones and a £3.5million ring recently given to her by husband Kanye West.

The family left the French capital on a private jet from the city's Le Bourget Airport within hours of the ordeal.

Kim was pictured arriving back in America for the first time following her terrifying armed robbery in Paris.

Kanye was seen standing by her side as the pair arrived back at their New York apartment yesterday afternoon.

A source said: "She’s very pleased to be heading back to the United States. She has given a full statement for the police."

Before jetting off a spokesman for the star said: "She is badly shaken but physically unharmed."

Kim begged robbers as they held a gun to her head pleading "Please don't kill me, I have children".

The "badly shaken" reality star, 35, fled the French capital on a private jet hours after being held hostage.

Authorities confirmed the reality TV star was unharmed during the "highly-organised" raid on the Rue Tronchet in Paris's Madeleine district.

Sources said the armed men had been let into the building by a concierge who was marched at gunpoint to the star's apartment.

Kim's daughter North, three and ten-month-old son Saint are not believed to have been with her.

The Kardashian home in Paris is in a luxury block apartment block called Hotel Pourtalès where the likes of Madonna, Leonardo Di Caprio and Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic have stayed over the years.

Kim's husband Kanye West raced off stage after learning of the of incident in the middle of a performance at The Meadows Music and Arts Festival in New York.
