SAM'S FAMILY FURY - Thousands back petition started by X Factor contestants family to get Honey G booted from show

THE family of X Factor contestant Samantha Atkinson have started a petition to get Honey G booted from the show.

Samantha’s cousin Yasemin wrote alongside the petition: “Samantha Atkinson is my cousin and I and thousands of other X factor viewers feel she was robbed of her place on live shows tonight, when Sharon Osbourne gave Honey G one of them places in final 12.

“Let’s sign and show X factor bosses and ITV that they have made a huge mistake!!!”

The petition has almost reached its goal of 3,000 supports within 12 hours of being created.

Supporter Julie H wrote: “It’s so not right that honey G went through and Samantha didn’t!”

Tracey P added: “The X Factor is a joke and will now be watching the BBC on a Saturday night.”

Eileen R raged: “Bring Sam back or this program is heading for the bin not happy.”

Following Sunday’s controversial episode, Samantha told Hull Daily Mail: “I was absolutely distraught, there aren’t really any words to describe it.

“But I don’t feel like it is the end, it is just the start for me.

“I feel like X Factor has given me a great platform and people now know who I am and what I am about.

“I have got people contacting me offering me help to get my name out there even more and it is great.”
