The Hidden Truth Behind The Use Of Anointed Objects

A LOCAL bishop has raised concern at the continued use of material things in worship at the expense of having faith in Jesus Christ.

Bishop Ancelem Gwaze of New Revelation Glasshouse Ministry in Chitungwiza’s Zengeza 2 suburb likened the use of anointed ‘pens’,’anointed’ co_ndoms,’anointed’ soaps,’anointed’ water and oil, miracle spectacles and bangles to idolatry saying the items had taken over putting faith in Christ.

He bemoaned the way in which material things had become ‘trendy’ where many look unto the anointed materials at the expense of having faith in God.He said people were putting faith in prophets, people and pastors rather that the Christ.”Christ is not being preached but rather material things; it is no longer the church of Christ but church of merchandise.

“Gospel is the Good news of Jesus Christ but people are being swayed from Christ as they are made to believe more in gadgets which they get for a cost.

“You do not have to part with money for salvation. It is worrying that the gadgets are being worshipped rather than God,”said Bishop Gwaze.
The Hidden Truth Behind The Use Of Anointed Objects
He said prosperity Gospel being preached had centered on money while it was broad.

“Prosperity Gospel encompasses divine health, wellness, protection, preservation and salvation among other thing but preachers are taking advantage of help seeking people and milk them of their hard earned money in the name of prosperity gospel.

“Because people want spiritual help they end up being diverted from Christ and reduced to situations where they are made to eat grass or snakes.

“We need to conscientise people that they are not swayed away,we will soon be reached to the people so that they know that they should have faith in Jesus Christ and not on material things.

“I am planning crusades so that we return souls back to God,”said Bishop Gwaze.

“The people cannot know the truth if they are not told.

“They (people) are now following any doctrine that comes along and they remain in the dark.

“Pastors and prophets who dwell much on material things have kept them in the dark so they need to be told to put faith in Christ.

“People are following doctrines of men and not Christ. We should not preach anything other than Jesus Christ,”he said.

Bishop Gwaze said people were dying in hospitals while wearing anointed materials while some are failing to see what would befall them yet they are being told of miracle spectacles.

“All other material things are idolatry.
“The church is now lacking knowledge.knowledge. No one should have excuse that they don’t know God because all is documented.

“Christ is the end of law and material things being used in worship.

“A prophet cannot keep an eye on you.Only Christ who is Omnican watch us all.It is Jesus Christ who has the power to watch over us all at once and not mere mortals. If there is no Christ there is no life,”Bishop Gwaze said.He added that many Christians are living in shadow.

“A shadow has no life and that is how many are living through.

“It is there in the bible that some will cast out demons but it does not mean they are of God.

“When they see such things they are then made to part with their hard-earned cash.

“The house of prayer has been turned into the house of merchandise, people are being milked,”Bishop Gwaze said.
Bishop Gwaze said it was a matter of time that the people will know the truth about God and use of material things.

“It has become trendy that people flock for the so-called miracle and materials things and when another prophet comes they flock there leaving where they were worshipping.By this where are we going?

“God abolished death and brought life and the truth,”he said.
